Some sessions require an application while others have open enrollment. This page is for those sessions that require an application process.

For those sessions that require an application, we use a rolling admission system. We will notify you of your acceptance within three weeks of your submission. Upon acceptance, we will direct you with next steps to complete your registration.

Film Production

The online appli­ca­tion will ask for the fol­low­ing:

Submit a link to your portfolio/video(s). Submit any of the fol­low­ing:

  • A com­plete film project.
  • Any piece of a film project.
  • A treat­ment for a pro­posed film project.
  • A Presentation about a film that had an impact on you.
  • Headshot or pho­to and resume.

  • Upload a resume
  • Upload a list of your cur­rent audi­tion songs and mono­logues. This is extreme­ly impor­tant as the fac­ul­ty uses these video sub­mis­sions to choose mate­r­i­al pri­or to the start of camp.

Acting Majors
Present two con­trast­ing mono­logues, each approx­i­mately two min­utes in length, and one 32 bar cut of a musi­cal the­atre song (option­al). Your mono­logue selec­tions should be char­acters from pub­lished plays. We are look­ing for evi­dence of a true under­standing of both the char­acter and full con­text of the mono­logue as well as nat­u­ralness and hon­esty. Please, no cos­tumes or clips from pre­vious per­for­mances.

Musical Theatre Majors
Present two con­trast­ing 32 bar cuts from musi­cal the­atre reper­toire and one 1 – 2 minute mono­logue from a pub­lished play. Be sure one song is up-tem­po and the oth­er is a bal­lad. Additionally, one song must have been writ­ten before 1965, and the oth­er after 1965. Songs must be per­formed with a piano accom­pa­nist or an accom­pa­niment tape, no a capel­la. We are look­ing for nat­ur­al and hon­est per­form­ers. Please, no cos­tume and no clips from pre­vi­ous per­for­mances.

Junior Camp 2- Intermediate/Advanced

Include one or more of the fol­low­ing, with each por­tion under two min­utes in length. (1) A dance com­bi­na­tion from a recital (2) A video of a floor com­bi­na­tion typ­i­cal­ly done in one of your dance class­es (3) An act­ing mono­logue from a play or musi­cal (4) A song per­for­mance from musi­cal the­atre lit­er­a­ture. Use an accom­pa­ni­ment tape or a live accom­pa­nist. A capel­la is strong­ly dis­cour­aged.
