Welcome to Impact Arts!

What do we do?

Things are changing, and we are excited about the future. If you know some of our programs, you may not know they are now under one umbrella. Over the summer, we established a new Texas nonprofit called Impact Arts. Welcome to Impact Arts!

LEARNING THE POLISH ACCENT WITH POLISH TUTORS

27 Dec 2022

Polish is a member of the Slavic language family. Its accent is more similar to that of Serbo-Croatian and Czech. However, the stressed syllables in the Polish accent have a distinct intonation that is absent from other Slavic dialects. Summer Stock Austin

Summer Stock Austin has become an annual tradition in Austin, where local high school students combined with college students from all over the United States come together to train, perform, and engage in all aspects of production and performance in a fast-paced professional atmosphere. With two fully-staged musical productions, typically one traditional and one contemporary, along with an original musical for family audiences, Summer Stock Austin is uniquely a theatre production company and an educational training program in one. There is no cost to participate, and college students are provided opportunities for stipends.

In 2021, we partnered with Texas Performing Arts with a live production of Bring It On on the McCullough Stage and a première of our original movie Scout in Bass Concert Hall. Scout is playing the film festival circuit this year and we are creating a digital educational series to partner with the film for elementary and middle school classrooms around the country.

We provide scholarships and financial to all of our tuition-based programs, and participation in Summer Stock Austin is completely tuition-free, meaning all participants are inherently on scholarships.
